This girl from Indiana spent the late eighteen hundreds attending the Arts Students League of New York before crossing the Atlantic for Paris. Upon return to the states, Zaring landed with the legendary Mid West Impressionist painters, The Hoosier Group before migrating to Provincetown to study under Charles Hawthorne circa 1920. She would go on to cofound the Miami Art League in 1930.
