In 1936, Cape artist/teacher Henry Hensche married his favorite student, Ada Rayner, who migrated from London, England to serve as a Mary Poppins in America. By 1930, she had zig-zagged her way to Provincetown to fulfill her dream of becoming an artist. She was prolific and a master of the mudhead.
